Unfortunately, on top of all of the other expenses that our car delivers to us, gas can often be one of the most “annoying”. In recent years, it hasn’t been difficult to see that the price in gas has only gone up. UNFORTUNATELY for us, this isn’t a vehicle expense that we can ignore. However, there are ways to cut your Gas Budget back to a place where it feels manageable.

Here, we have made a List of The Best Ways to Save Money on Gas

5. Join A Gas Station Rewards Club Program
More often than not, Rewards cards are 100% free and this includes those of Gas Stations. A Gas Station Rewards card typically come with many benefits including Cheaper Gas Prices. Usually, all that you have to do is sign up by providing your phone number or Email Address.

4. Carpool When You Can
This can seem highly inconvenient in many situations however, there are certain scenarios where Car Pooling makes sense. Maybe you and your neighbors attend the same church service on Sundays, this is a great opportunity for Car Pooling to save money on Gas Prices. Try taking your kids to school at the same time that you go off to work rather than making several trips to and from. Small things like this can actually cut the amount of times that you need to fill up on gas in half if you do it often enough.

3. Keep the Right Amount of Air in Your Tires
Yes, this will actually reduce fuel usage and, depending on what the temperature is outside, the air in your tires should changed accordingly.

2. Drive Smarter
The next few times that you drive, try not to brake as roughly or quickly. Also, try avoiding accelerating at an unnecessary rate. Driving more aggressively can, on average, lower your gas mileage by 10%-40%.

1.Check Gas Prices
This is the most obvious yet most cost efficient thing that you can do to save money on gas. Do your research and keep your eyes open while passing gas stations even when your tank is empty. It’s good to remember that Gas Stations are often competitive with their pricing (especially when across the street from each other) and one will almost always be cheaper than the other, even if it’s just by a few cents. However, these few cents add up over time and gallons. Stay away from gas stations close to airports and larger cities as their prices are more expensive compared to other stations elsewhere.
